On March 21, 2025, representatives from the Mediadesign University of Applied Sciences for Design and Computer Science (MDH) in Berlin, Germany, visited Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University for an academic visit. Martin Adam, the President and CEO of MDH, and board member Lu Jianen were warmly received by Assistant to the President and Head of the International Department Yan Hui, Director of the International Cooperation Office Wang Ling, Vice Dean of the School of International Education Feng Yuqiang, and other relevant leaders.

In the morning, President Martin Adam delivered a lecture titled "The Future of Media Design: How Artificial Intelligence is Leading Creative Directions" to our students, which was hosted by Yan Hui. During the lecture, President Adam shared the extensive applications of AI in media design, such as image recognition and natural language processing, and discussed the challenges and issues of AI in design. The students actively participated in the interaction and eagerly asked questions related to media design and artificial intelligence.

Following the lecture, President Adam, accompanied by Head Yan Hui, Director Wang Ling, Vice Dean Feng Yuqiang, and other school leaders, visited our International Education Center. Head Yan Hui provided a detailed introduction to the development history, educational philosophy, and future development plans of the School of International Education , showcasing the achievements of our internationalization efforts. President Adam highly praised the accomplishments of the International Education College in promoting educational internationalization and expressed hope for further strengthening cooperation between the two institutions in the future.

After the visit, our school held a faculty exchange meeting. This meeting brought together several of our professors who teach in English. The teachers engaged in in-depth discussions with President Adam on topics such as improving cross-cultural teaching abilities and enhancing student-teacher interaction. President Adam suggested that teachers adopt the “cultural comparison teaching method” to guide students in understanding cultural diversity by comparing Chinese and European art cases. He also proposed the idea of designing cross-cultural collaborative projects, such as joint online creative work between Chinese and German students, to promote deep communication. Additionally, he recommended using interactive teaching methods, such as role-playing and cultural debates, to enhance classroom participation. Furthermore, he encouraged teachers to participate in Sino-European educational exchange programs to accumulate practical cross-cultural teaching wisdom.

After the exchange meeting, President Adam and our school leaders had lunch with students who are about to study in Germany. In a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, the students had in-depth discussions with the President about their upcoming study abroad life, academic plans, and received relevant guidance.
This visit not only deepened the cooperation between our school and the Mediadesign University of Applied Sciences for Design and Computer Science in Berlin but also promoted the progress of our international education efforts. In the future, our school will continue to expand international educational resources, optimize teaching models, and provide a broader development platform for more students.
