
On February 26th, Deputy CEO Simo Mustila and his delegation from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland, visited Zhongqiao University to engage in an in-depth exchange on topics such as internationalization in education, international talent cultivation, and industry-education integration. They were warmly received by President Cao Yuping, Vice President Liu Shuyun, and Assistant to the President and Head of International Department, Yan Hui, along with other relevant staff members.

Accompanied by Vice President Liu Shuyun, Deputy CEO Mustila toured several key facilities on campus, including Building 10, School of International Education, the Library, School of Information Engineering, School of Food and Pharmacy, and School of Architecture and Engineering. Vice President Liu provided a detailed introduction to the design and planning vision of Building 10, stating that after the approval of the Helsinki Future Engineering College, the university plans to undertake comprehensive renovations to meet the various needs of the new college. Deputy CEO Mustila highly praised Zhongqiao University’s forward-looking approach in the field of new technology education and expressed his hope that the two universities would explore deeper cooperation in the integration of technological innovation and vocational education in the future.

The session was rich in content and offered unique perspectives, providing invaluable international experiences and inspiration for Zhongqiao University’s faculty and students.
This visit not only strengthened the mutual understanding and trust between the two universities but also injected new vitality into Sino-Finnish educational cooperation. Moving forward, the two institutions will deepen their collaboration in academic exchanges, curriculum development, research cooperation, and the internationalization of vocational education. Together, they aim to contribute to the cultivation of high-quality, internationally-minded technical and skilled talent and to the thriving development of international education.
