Faculty from SHZQU Visit the 7th China International Import Expo

On November 8, faculty representatives from the School of Economics and Management visited the National Exhibition and Convention Center to participate in an insightful tour of the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE). This year’s Expo, themed “New Era, Shared Future,” underscored its role as a vital platform for international procurement, investment promotion, cultural exchange, and open cooperation. It presented a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies, products, and services while fostering closer ties between vocational education and international best practices.



During the visit, the faculty members experienced the dynamic energy of global trade and gained a deeper appreciation for the pivotal role of technological advancements and innovation in driving economic and societal progress. Through interactive discussions across various exhibition halls and direct engagement with exhibitors and industry experts, the team explored key topics such as emerging industry trends, groundbreaking technological innovations, and sustainable development strategies. These interactions provided valuable insights that broadened their academic perspectives and enriched their teaching approaches.


This visit was not only an important step in broadening the international outlook of the School of Economics and Management but also sparked deeper reflections on how to effectively integrate global best practices in management and technological innovations into everyday teaching and research activities.


For several years, faculty members of the School of Economics and Management have visited the Expo, experiencing the “CIIE moment” each year. This ongoing engagement symbolizes a commitment to continuous learning, mutual growth, and a shared vision for the future. Looking ahead, the School will continue to build diverse international exchange and collaboration platforms, laying a strong foundation for cultivating high-caliber, interdisciplinary talents equipped with global perspectives, innovative thinking, and practical skills.
