2024 Shanghai Specialised Vocational Skills Competition ‘Supply Chain Manager’ Project is Successfully Held in Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University

The Shanghai Vocational Skills Appraisal Center, with sponsorship from the Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, successfully hosted the "Supply Chain Manager" project for the 2024 Shanghai Specialized Vocational Skills Competition on September 22 at Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University. More than 300 competitors from different parts of the city have registered to take part in this event.




This competition closely aligns with the evaluation requirements of the national vocational skills standard "Supply Chain Manager" (level 2/technician), and it fully complies with the WorldSkills Competition competition standards. The professional skills and foundational theories of supply chain management are covered in the content. To thoroughly assess the participants' professional attributes and abilities, it is split between theoretical knowledge competitions and on-site practical operations. Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University offered technical support for this competition.



It is specifically carried out by the School of Economics and Management. The university has organized a dedicated competition work team and regularly convened coordination and preparation meetings in order to guarantee the competition runs well. In order to guarantee the safe and efficient progress of the competition items, relevant departments work closely together, aggressively create a competitive atmosphere, and schedule and guarantee venue facilities.







In recent years, Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University's School of Economics and Management has been actively aligning itself with the demands of cultivating new-quality productive forces. It has been continuously optimizing professional settings, strengthening the construction of key professional groups, actively meeting the talent demand for the development of Shanghai's "3+6" industries, promoting the "academic certificate + several vocational skill certificates" system, and cultivating highly skilled talent in the city. The School of Economics and Management has launched vocational undergraduate majors including modern logistics management and been accepted into Shanghai's elite professional group, all in response to the demands of the "digital intelligence economy" and the "low-altitude economy" for talent cultivation.It has been successively approved as a municipal-level social evaluation organization for vocational skills, including supply chain manager and business data analyst. Subsequently, it will carry out vocational skill level evaluation work for the entire city, promote the cultivation of talents through industry-education integration, and further contribute to the construction of the city's high-skilled talent team.
