To deepen industry-education integration and to solidify the development of the Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Community,on the afternoon of June 25, a delegation led by He Jiong, Manager of the Public Education Department of Shanghai FANUC, visited Zhongqiao University. Vice President of Zhongqiao University Huang Lixin, Director of the Industry-Education Integration Office Wei Peng, Dean of the School of Information Engineering Zhao Xin, and Vice Dean of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Wang Zhaowei attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Huang Lixin, on behalf of the ZETA GROUP and Zhongqiao University, extended a warm welcome to the FANUC delegation and provided a comprehensive overview of the development status and goals of the Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Community.
Director Wei Peng engaged in an in-depth discussion on the integration of industry and education, focusing on curriculum development, talent cultivation, the construction of training centers, and faculty sharing. Shanghai FANUC and Zhongqiao University jointly decided to invite enterprises from upstream and downstream as well as schools within the intelligent manufacturing industry to participate in the Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Community, deepening school-enterprise cooperation and opening new pathways for industry development.
Subsequently, both parties, leveraging their unique characteristics, had an in-depth discussion on specific measures such as collaborative projects, customized courses, and the establishment of training bases. They reached a consensus on talent cultivation and industry certification, expressing the desire to leverage each other's strengths to create a high-quality talent ecosystem for industry development. The Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Community of Zhongqiao University will actively collaborate with FANUC, relying on the community's mechanisms and platform, to explore the industry-education integration and to create a favorable new model of resource sharing, information exchange, and joint talent cultivation.
After the meeting, the FANUC delegation visited the laboratories and training centers of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, leaving a deep impression on Zhongqiao’s development of intelligent manufacturing field.
