Recently, the Wanli Sub-district Community School signed a cooperation agreement with Shanghai Shuhua Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Shuhua Technology), establishing a collaborative platform with Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University.

Representatives from Wanli Sub-district Community School, the School of Information Engineering from Zhongqiao University, and Shuhua Technology gathered for a cooperation discussion.Zhao Xin, Dean of the School of Information Engineering; Zhou Yang, President of Shuhua Technology; Dong Wei, Deputy Director of Wanli Sub-district Office; representatives from the Community Service Office and Wanli Sub-districtCommunity School; along with technical staff, student representatives, and community intangible cultural heritage (ICH) inheritors, totaling over 20 participants attended the meeting.
The achievements of the "Intangible Cultural Heritage and Humanities Project" demonstrate the successful collaboration among the three parties. This partnership embodies the practice of leveraging advanced AI technology to empower community education and culture, showcasing China’s outstanding traditional culture and promoting innovative development in cultural industries.

Focusing on the theme "AI Technology Empowering Community Education to Inherit solar termCulture and Intangible Cultural Heritage Skills," the Wanli Sub-districtcommunity school and Shuhua Technology jointly introduced the initial goals and ongoing developments of the Sora AI-enabled "Intangible Cultural Heritage and Humanities Project." At the beginning of the year, both parties utilized "machine learning" to enhance community-based curriculum on traditional solar term customs and ICH activities. Through tripartite cooperation, they supported university students’ practical training by providing the Youyan AIGC platform and AI learning resources, promoting team learning in AI skills and course production, and launching the "Youyan AI Competition."
Zhou Yang, President of Shuhua Technology, who also serves as a career guidance mentor at Zhongqiao University and a special envoy of the Alibaba Alumni Association, emphasizing the importance of "university-enterprise cooperation." He highlighted the technical support provided by the company for the AI course development ,underscoring the company’s mission to contribute to lifelong learning, community cultural construction, traditional culture dissemination, and the cultivation of talents.

To bring courses and actual handicraft experiences to community residents, achieving industry-education integration and lifelong education, the three parties discussed the subsequent development requirements and progress of AI courses.During the discussions, the three parties agreed to refine AI technology, enhance the quality of community education courses and activities, achieve industry-education integration, facilitate lifelong education, engage with traditional culture, and promote digital empowerment for "lifelong learning for all" and advanced technology’s role in preserving and transmitting excellent culture. The meeting also explored future cooperation directions and topics, such as short video teaching for the elderly. The integration of "Intangible Cultural Heritage and AI Technology" aims to make more people discover, understand, and appreciate the charm of Chinese culture and actively participate in the protection and inheritance of ICH.

After the meeting, the three parties visited the ICH studio to admire works by ICH artisans and had in-depth exchanges.
With the rapid development of technology, the application of AI not only brings innovation to educational methods but also provides unlimited possibilities for the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture. In the future, with joint efforts from universities, enterprises, and other sectors. Chinese traditional culture will leverage AI to be better, faster, and more widely transmitted and developed. Through this event,students from the School of Information Engineering gained a deeper understanding of the charm and value of traditional culture and ICH skills, appreciating the opportunity to use advanced technology to protect and inherit China's valuable cultural heritage.
