Symposium was Held for Teachers Returning from Overseas

On January 12, 2024, Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University held a symposium for returning overseas teachers. This symposium aims to enhance exchanges between the school and returned teachers and jointly look forward to the future development of our school's internationalization. Liu Fuyao, Director of the Personnel Department, Yan Hui, Dean of the School of International Education, Wang Ling, Director of the International Cooperation Office, and teachers who returned from overseas attended the symposium.



At the beginning of the meeting, Yan Hui, Dean of the School of International Education, delivered a welcome speech, expressing a warm welcome to the returning overseas teachers and hoping that they could contribute to the development of the school.

 


Han Wei, School of Intelligent Manufacturing talked about his rich experience and achievements in the company. He also encourages returning teachers to persist in their dreams, actively utilize the school’s platforms and opportunities, and continuously improve and develop themselves.

 


Shi Jieru from the School of Art, based on her own experience of studying abroad, explained that in classroom teaching, attention should be paid to the application of knowledge and skills.

 


Teacher Feng Yuqiang School of Intelligent Manufacturing shared the German dual system teaching and inspiration. Our school should combine its own reality and learn from the successful experience of German dual system teaching.

 


Wang Ling, Director of the International Cooperation Office, said that returned teachers with overseas study and work experience can not only enrich our school’s talent team, but also actively promote the internationalization of vocational education. Our school also insists on providing more opportunities for teachers and students to exchange abroad.

 


Finally, Liu Fuyao, Director of the Personnel Department, introduced our school’s talent policy. Including talent introduction policies and incentive policies for teachers to go overseas for further training, etc., more teachers are encouraged to join the school's international strategic construction.

 

The successful convening of this symposium not only enhanced the understanding between the school and the returned teachers, but also injected new impetus and vitality into the future development of the school.
