From June 5 to 7, the 15th Challenge Cup Shanghai College Students' Entrepreneurship Plan Competition was held at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. Students from Shanghai Zhongqiao Polytechnic University delivered an impressive performance, fully demonstrating the university's solid foundation in innovation and entrepreneurship education and the practical effectiveness of its vocational undergraduate talent cultivation. The university won:

3 Grand Prizes

5 First Prizes

4 Second Prizes

2 Third Prizes

The university also claimed the Excellence Cup — marking its fourth consecutive win of this prestigious award.

This year's competition was closely aligned with the strategic deployments of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, focusing on cultivating youth innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities and serving the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation. The competition featured eight tracks: Advanced Manufacturing, New-Generation Information Technology, Biomedicine and Health Technology, New Energy and New Materials, Modern Agriculture and Food Technology, New Consumption and Cultural Creativity, Modern Services and Social Governance, and International Exchange and Cooperation.

Since its official launch in March this year, the competition has attracted registrations from over 110,000 students across 66 universities in Shanghai, with nearly 1,100 projects entering the municipal competition — setting a new record for scale. After qualification review and preliminary evaluation, 613 projects from 64 universities advanced to the final round.

During the preparation phase, Shanghai Zhongqiao Polytechnic University closely followed the direction of vocational education, systematically advancing project cultivation, selection and recommendation, mock roadshows, and expert coaching through its Five Integrations, Three Classrooms vocational undergraduate innovation and entrepreneurship model and the Green Sprout talent cultivation program. Participating teams continuously refined their projects around key elements such as project positioning, technical pathways, market applications, and achievement transformation, steadily improving project quality and comprehensive competitiveness through repeated practice. After fierce competition, 16 high-quality projects from the university entered the municipal evaluation, with 12 projects advancing to the municipal finals, covering key areas such as emerging industry development, social service innovation, and responses to livelihood needs.
