On April 26, the 2025 “New Start” EDU Dance Elite Alliance National Ballroom Dance (DanceSport) Spring League was grandly launched at the Chateau Star River Shanghai Hotel. As one of the most important Dance Sport competitions in China, this event aims to promote ballroom dance culture and enhance the technical skills of dancers through a nationwide league format. The Ballroom Dance Team of Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University stood out with their solid professional foundation and outstanding on-site performance, winning eight major awards and bringing great honor to the university.
Behind every honor lies the result of the dancers' long-term dedication and the professional guidance of their instructors. The Zhongqiao dancers vividly demonstrated the spirit of “Dancing with Passion, Staying True to Love” through their actions. Since its establishment in 2018, the Ballroom Dance Team of Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University has adhered to its motto of “Erudition and Pragmatism, Virtue and Artistry.” Under the guidance of professional teachers, the team has continuously improved its dance technique and artistic expression.
The university places great emphasis on aesthetic education and actively creates platforms for students to engage in artistic practice.
