On the afternoon of June 28, Chairman Yue Ting of NIET Group, Australia led a delegation to visit Zhongqiao University. President Huo Jiazhen, Vice President Liu Shuyun, Director of the School of Continuing Education Chen Yinqiao, Deputy Dean of the School of Economics and Management Zhang Shuyi and others attended the meeting.
Liu Shuyun expressed a warm welcome and gratitude to NIET Group for their return visit. She highlighted the international achievements of Zhongqiao University in recent years. Feng Xuan, Dean of the International Branch of the NIET Group, gave a comprehensive presentation on educational practices and expressed a desire to deepen exchanges and cooperation with Zhongqiao University through this meeting.
President Huo Jiazhen emphasized that internationalization is a strategic measure that Zhongqiao has always adhered to, and Australia is an important direction for university’s internationalization efforts. There is broad potential and a promising future for cooperation in international collaborations between the two sides. It was hoped that both sides could leverage respective strengths and features to solidify, expand, and strengthen cooperation in various colleges and programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, thereby promoting the implementation of specific international cooperation projects. Additionally, he suggested that both parties could explore cooperation channels in the field of continuing education and in establishing educational institutions in Australia to share the benefits of collaboration.
Chairman Yue Ting agreed with President Huo Jiazhen and stated that the NIET Group would thoroughly research and explore ways to enhance communication and collaboration with relevant colleges and programs at Zhongqiao. He emphasized the goal of actively developing new pathways for cultivating highly skilled professionals with an international perspective.
During the meeting, Chen Yinqiao and Zhang Shuyi, among others, had initial discussions with NIET Group, regarding potential collaboration. Both parties agreed to establish a special project team in the early stages to ensure the effective implementation of cooperative projects.
