On the morning of June 21, 2024, following the 2024 graduation ceremony and bachelor’s degree conferral, Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University held a grand farewell ceremony for 49 graduates who are about to embark on their study abroad journey to Korea. President Huo Jiazhen, Vice President Liu Shuyun, Dean of the College of International EducationYan Hui, Director of the International Cooperation Office Wang Ling, Director of the Employment Office Guan Rui, as well as deans, secretaries, foreign affairs officers, and counselors from related colleges attended the ceremony. This event not only expressed the university’s best wishes for the students' bright futures but also showcased the achievements of Zhongqiao's international strategy.
Before the event, students signed their names on the signature wall and took precious photos to capture unforgettable moments.
At the farewell ceremony, President Huo Jiazhen addressed the students going to study in Korea, encouraging them to study diligently, continuously improve themselves, appreciate the charm of different cultures and advance towards a broader world and a higher stage.
The students, holding flowers, expressed their deep respect and gratitude to their teachers. Subsequently, student representative Jin Qian took the stage to share his anticipation and expectations for studying abroad. He also expressed his gratitude to the university for providing the platform for overseas study, stating that he will cherish this opportunity, study hard, and enhance his comprehensive qualities and international perspective, laying a solid foundation for future career development.
After the ceremony, at the buffet reception, teachers and students cut a piece of cake together, marking a perfect end to their time at Zhongqiao. This special gift symbolizes good wishes and expectations, wishing them endless dreams and a promising future!
