On the morning of June 12th, Deputy Secretary General Tian Xiaoyong of the International Cooperation and Exchange Working Committee of the Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education (CSTVE), along with his delegation, visited Zhongqiao University for an investigation. President Huo Jiazhen, Vice President Liu Shuyun, Directors of Functional Departments and Offices, and representatives of teachers and students from Zhongqiao university participated in the meeting.
On behalf of the Zhongqiao university, President Huo Jiazhen extended a warm welcome to leaders of the International Cooperation and Exchange Working Committee of CSTVE and provided an introduction to Zhongqiao University. He expressed hope that the CSTVE could offer more support and care in the university's development process. Heads of relevant functional departments gave comprehensive introductions and communicated on the topics of pain points and difficulties in the process of vocational education, layout of specialties, industry-education integration, bottlenecks in international cooperation work, etc. Representatives of teachers and students from secondary colleges also shared their experiences regarding the progress and achievements of the university’s internationalization efforts with the delegation.
Tiao Xiaoyong and his delegation fully acknowledged the achievements of Zhongqiao university in international development. Tian Xiaoyong stated that Zhongqiao University has gradually formed a set of highly characteristic vocational education experiences and practices in international exchanges and industry-education integration, which have significant research and promotion value. He also expressed a desire for more interactions with Zhongqiao University in the future, to hear more stories from Zhongqiao, and to disseminate and promote more excellent vocational education experiences.
