From March 4th to 5th, 2024, Martin Adam, Executive of Mediadesign Hochschule (MD. H), Lu Jianeng, a member of the Board of Directors, and Professor Sylvius Lack, a member of the Academic Committee and Director of the Game Design Department and the delegation visited SHZQU. President Huo Jiazhen, Dean of the School of International Education Yan Hui, and Director of the International Cooperation Office Wang Ling participating in the reception and talks.
The two universities introduced basic education situation and professional advantages. Martin Adamd and all members visited campus, gymnasium and library. They also visited to the School of Information Engineering and the School of Arts. They highly agreed with the school-running philosophy of SHZQU.
The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on joint training and teacher team construction. As well as the two sides established the intention of cooperation. At the same time, Professor Sylvius Lack brought a lecture on Sora technology to students from Zhongqiao. During the lecture, the students actively participated and engaged in questioning and interaction in their professional fields.
The MD.H team held a feasibility themed exchange with the Admissions Office, International Cooperation Office, School of International Education, and relevant College of SHZQU on the joint training of undergraduate and master programs. In the meantime, an academic exchange seminar on digital media was held in the conference room of School of Arts, with Martin Adam and Professor Sylvia Lack, Vice Dean of the School of International Education Feng Yuqiang, and representatives of teachers in the field of digital media have had full exchanges in curriculum design, teaching methods, future course cooperation and teacher exchange.
Leaders and teacher representatives from both sides had full communication and jointly planned for the future through these two days. Dedicated to cultivating more international talents.
Mediadesign Hochschule was established in 1987 and is a well-known media design institute in Germany. The school has gathered a group of academic leaders who are influential in Germany and internationally. MD. H has cultivated many top talents in high-level modern design. Graduate alumni have won many influential awards in Germany and even the world. Additionally, every Marvel movie has an MD.H. 's faculty and students involved.
