At the invitation of Wong Tse Wei, President of the Malaysian University Alliance, Professor Liu Shuyun, Vice President of our University, participated in the online preparatory work of the China-Malaysia Vocational Education Alliance on June 12 and had a preliminary exchange with the Malaysian side on international cooperation issues.
President Liu introduced the recent situation of our school. She pointed out that Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University attaches great importance to international cooperation and exchange work, China and Malaysia have a wealth of highly educational resources to cooperate. She heard of University of Malaya will soon launch the China-Malaysia vocational education alliance. Our school is willing to accept the invitation to become a member of the alliance.
Mr. Wong Tse Wei said it was a great honor to invite President Liu to attend the meeting. He said that President Liu is an expert in the field of vocational education in China and a pioneer in international cooperation and exchange in the field of vocational education in China, and the Malaysian University Union welcomes Zhongqiao to join the China-Malaysia Vocational Education Alliance.
It is reported that the China-Malaysia Vocational Education Alliance will be officially announced on the 28th of this month, when the head of the Malaysian University Alliance and representatives of relevant Chinese institutions will sign a cooperation framework agreement.
