On December 13, 2023, at 9:00 AM, Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University and Jakarta Abdi Siswa School in Indonesia held a meeting in Zhongqiao University. The attendees of the meeting are: Yan Hui, Dean of the School of International Education at Zhongqiao University, Wang Ling, Vice Dean of the School of International Education, Jusuf Iskandar, Executive Chairman of the Abdi Siswa Foundation, Ferry Widagda, Director, and Leo Hou, China Regional Advisor of the International Department.
Firstly, Dean Yan Hui welcomed the representative of the Abdi Siswa Foundation and provided a detailed introduction to the school's development process and the distribution of College. Abdi Siswa Foundation Executive Chairman Jusuf Iskandar introduces an overview of the Abdi Siswa School in Jakarta, Indonesia, and its international exchange and cooperation.
During the meeting, both parties discussed matters related to admitting Indonesian students to our university for academic degrees, short-term exchange programs, and Chinese language bridge courses. Foreign parties have stated that cooperative exchange programs are beneficial for promoting and deepening local students' understanding of Chinese culture, enhancing their competitiveness and employability. In the future job search path of students, it plays a positive and driving role to apply for jobs in local enterprises.
After the meeting, Dean Yan expressed his gratitude to the visiting representatives again. This meeting provides a good platform for cooperation between Chinese and Indian schools.
