On the morning of August 17th, Yu Zhongwen, Vice President of The Chinese Society for Vocational and Technical Education and Founding President of Shenzhen Polytechnic University, visited Zhongqiao University for guidance. Yu Zhongwen was a pioneer and enlightener of Chinese vocational education, and his guidance played a positive role in promoting the development and educational work of the school. Vice President Yu Zhongwen has rich practical experience and theoretical attainments. Yan Hongjuan, chairman of the board of supervisors of Zhongqiao University, and Ping Jie, the secretary of the Party Committee of Zhongqiao University, received.
President Yu emphasized that as the first vocational undergraduate institution in Shanghai, Zhongqiao University should integrate with local vocational education and offer majors that are combined with local economic development. Secretary Pingjie discussed in detail about the development direction, talent cultivation goals, education model, major construction, education and teaching reform, and the construction and reform of practical teaching bases of Zhongqiao university.
After the meeting, President Yu visited the unmanned aerial vehicle training base of the School of Information Engineering to gain a deeper understanding of the current situation. He had friendly exchanges with the students and shared his accumulated experience which inspiring their enthusiasm and guiding them to clarify their personal development goals and career plans.
President Yu Zhongwen provides professional advice and guidance to Zhongqiao University. He offers more resources and cooperation opportunities, and promotes communication and collaboration between Zhongqiao University and the vocational and technical education field.
