Yan Hui, Dean of the School of International Education was invited to visit Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg

On June 19, 2023, Dean Yan Hui of the School of International Education of Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University was invited to visit Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) in Germany. At the meeting, the representatives of DHBW warmly welcomed the arrival of Dean Yan Hui, who issued DHBW Vice President Johannes Kern the Certificate of Expert of the School of International Education.



Johannes Kern is Vice-Chancellor of the Lorrach Campus and Dean of the Business School at DHBW. As a professor of Digital Business Management, Johannes Kern teaches Digital Business Management and International trade, focusing on business model innovation and digital transformation. Prior to his academic career, he worked as a director at a consulting firm in China and held supply chain roles at Bosch Group Asia Pacific. Professor Johannes Kern holds Master's degrees in Business Administration, European Management and International Business from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Emlyon Business School in France and Aston University in the United Kingdom, and a doctorate from Technische Universität Darmstadt.


After the presentation ceremony, Dean Yan Hui was invited to participate in the DHBW International Business project presentation, which focused on the students' improvement plan for the government recycling center. Dean Yan Hui expressed great affirmation of the content of the students' report, and sincerely invited DHBW teachers and students to visit the Zhongqiao University. The two sides held friendly discussions on further cooperation and exchanges between the two universities in the future.


DHBW has signed a short-term visiting program agreement with our university. Many students from our university have already gone to DHBW to participate in short-term exchange study programs in 2022, and Germany will also send the first batch of students to exchange study in 2023.
