On June 13, 2023, Dean Yan Hui, School of International Education of Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University (hereafter referred to as Zhongqiao University) was invited to visit the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (Barcelona) in Spain (hereafter referred to as UIC)
Ms. Yan presented the recent development achievements and future plan of Zhongqiao University. The achievements and measures have won great praise from the UIC.
Both sides introduced the current situation and development vision. UIC has shown a strong interest in the Chinese education and market, also has discussed short-term exchange programs. Dean Yan Hui said that she will actively promote the implementation of cooperation and exchange projects between the two universities to better serve the overall development vision and strategic planning of the university.
The Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) was founded on October 1, 1997. The students are mainly from native Spain and Latin America. The Times Higher Education World University Ranking is 801st out of 55 Spanish universities, and its dentistry is ranked 51st in the QS World University Rankings by Subject. The school has campuses in Barcelona and Sant cugat. UIC is equipped with modern teaching facilities, has a high-quality teaching staff, and also has a Spanish language training center affiliated with the university to provide different kinds of language and cultural courses.
