At the invitation of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya (UPM) in Indonesia, Miss Yan Hui, Dean of the School of International Education of Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University (Zhongqiao University) paid a visit to UPM’s campus on May 9, 2023. IDA JUDA WIDJJO, UPM’s Vice President, met Miss Yan for collaboration discussions. Parhimpunan Simatupang, UPM’s Director of Academic and Business Cooperation, Faizah Sari, UPM’s Director of Cooperative Education and External Relations, and other representatives also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the two sides introduced the current situation of their respective schools, external exchanges and development visions. The two sides discussed the short-term summer exchange of students and the exchange of international students. The two sides also discussed the possibility of “top-up” programs and the possibility of joint projects between China and abroad in the future, and formed a good intention of cooperation in this regard. Both sides expressed that this meeting has further deepened mutual understanding and hope to carry out in-depth cooperation. Finally, Yan Hui cordially invited the senior leaders of UPM to visit Zhongqiao University.
After the meeting, Miss Yan visited UPM’s campus, teaching facilities and students’ dormitories among other things.
