We have off-campus internship bases including: Shanghai Changzheng Hospital, Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shanghai Fifth People's Medical and other tertiary hospitals.
Training objectives: To train students to master the ability of basic nursing, have the ability to observe common diseases and frequent diseases and the ability to take care of the whole body and mind; Can provide rehabilitation nursing and preventive health care services for individuals, families and communities for common geriatric diseases, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and orthopedic diseases, and at the same time, have good professional ethics, humanistic qualities, independent analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to pass the National Nurse Practitioner Certificate Examination.

Vocational skill certificate: National nurse practitioner qualification certificate, rehabilitation physiotherapist and other skill certificates, elderly care vocational skill level certificate.
Employment direction: Clinical nursing positions in various medical and health institutions at all levels (such as internal medicine wards, surgical wards, operating rooms, ICU, emergency department, etc.), geriatric rehabilitation nursing institutions, rehabilitation departments of hospitals at all levels and multinational health and medical related enterprises.
School-enterprise cooperation with medical institutions: Our school has established a cooperative exchange program with the famous Tokyo University of Welfare (a well-known university specializing in geriatric nursing and rehabilitation nursing) in Japan, and students have the opportunity to continue their studies in Japan; It has also established cooperative relations with Shanghai Shanda University and Fudan University School of Nursing (continuing education), where interested and qualified students can continue to pursue undergraduate studies to meet the needs of students at different levels. We are also one of the backbone members of the One Academy and Three Schools Industry-Education Integration Innovation Base in Shanghai Geriatric Health. Special hands-on experience and training are added to students' nursing skills learning.
