Baekseok University, founded in 1983, is a comprehensive university with a high academic reputation in Republic of Korea,and to a certain degree, also in the world. The university has two campuses,one in Seoul and another in Cheonan, with 12 faculties for undergraduate studies and 7 graduate schools for master/doctoral training. It offers trade, design, art and many other majors focusing on cultivating practical abilities. It has a total of more than 20,000 undergraduate students and nearly 10,000 master and doctoral students. Both the number of its students and employment rate of its graduates ranked top 10 in Republic of Korea.
Baekseok University has always emphasized the importance of cultivating students' core abilities and turning them into new generation talents with practical abilities. So far, Baekseok University has entered partnerships with more than 100 famous universities around the world, including Beijing Language and Culture University, Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, Heilongjiang University in China and University of California, Berkeley in the United States.
