At 10:30 a.m. on April 29 (14:30 New Zealand time), Shanghai Zhongqiao vocational and Technical University and Auckland business school held an online cooperation signing ceremony. President Huo Jiazhen, party secretary Ping Jie and other leading groups of the University, CEO Richard Smith of Auckland business school and AIS President Lehan stemmet attended the ceremony. The meeting was presided over by President Huo in English.
The leaders of the two schools respectively introduced the school running history, professional characteristics, school running advantages, international exchanges and cooperation of the two schools, displayed their beautiful campus environment and rich extracurricular activities, and made prospects for the exchange of visits, joint training of students and scientific research cooperation between the two schools. President Huo expressed the hope that the two universities will deepen exchanges and cooperation, give full play to their own characteristics and resource advantages, explore more possibilities in Sino foreign cooperation in running schools, and promote common development and win-win cooperation.
At the signing ceremony, President Huo Jiazhen and President Lehan stemmet signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of the two universities respectively. Relevant principals exchanged and discussed details such as professional curriculum, training program and international certification. The signing cooperation with Auckland business school in New Zealand is the first international cooperation project signed since our university was upgraded to a professional undergraduate level university. The two universities will carry out all-round cooperation in scientific research exchange, teacher training and student exchange. The first cooperation between the two sides will be the MBA program between teachers and students, and the follow-up will gradually carry out in-depth cooperation with the three undergraduate majors of the University. The implementation of the cooperation and exchange program of Auckland business school is of great significance to the talent training and international development of Zhongqiao University, and further expands the depth and breadth of international exchanges and cooperation of our university.
Auckland Institute of studies (AIS), founded in 1990 and located in Mt Albert, is one of the largest private institutions of higher learning in New Zealand. AIS has two campuses, five academic majors and one language training center, and has trained more than 20000 graduates.
